June had offered me great assistance onboarding me to the field of UX design. She guided me through research and design methodologies via lectures as well as projects. in the whole mentorship process, she showed patience and passion that offers me space and time to learn and grow.

I participated in a group HMI program, and designed a navigation product for trolley users traveling in a group. The mentor was very patient and answered our questions about the design process. This project was highly completed in terms of user experience and played a huge role in the interview. The project itself is quite large in volume, probably divided into 4 phases of  design: 'view planning - teammate interaction - charging navigation - end navigation'. We also designed the related APP. During the process, the mentor gave detailed guidance in every aspect, including interaction design and UI design. I gained a lot from this.

Thanks to Uxpie, especially June, for helping me with ps writing! I have an architecture background and Uxpie guided me how to write both relevant to my own and application requirements. Uxpie has great knowledge in the different school programs and resource. These information would have taken a lot of effort to find.

The mentor has a lot of industry experience and provided constructive and professional advice on medical products. She is also very conscientious and responsible, answering all the questions we encountered in each lesson. The mentor also provided a lot of learning resources so that we achieved a relatively completed project at the end of the course.

With mentor’s professional guidance and thoughtful project management as an experienced design lead, I was greatly inspired to do my best work in product design and achieved great results!

The course was very well designed and the mentors were all very knowledgeable. Although the interview process for UX may vary slightly from company to company, the course has prepared you for all possible interview situations. I was very well prepared for the job haunting season thanks to Sisi!

Mentors are very patient. Team members are also very helpful and have a good rhythm, discussing each lesson in advance, asking the mentor direct questions during the lesson, and then determining the next step in the direction of the design. The mentor didn't interfere with us when we decided on the theme, but mainly gave us insights on design ideas and professional direction, a very rewarding project! The HMI project was the first project in my portfolio, and the rest of my coursework at UW was put on the back burner. I got my internship mainly through this project.

I participated in the HMI project, which was taught very systematically by the instructor. This was the program I was most prepared for, and the one that I presented during my interview and helped me get an offer.

Before I joined UXpie, I studied some theoretical knowledge by myself. At that time, I thought it was too boring to read books and study online, and I hoped to learn more about the actual projects in this industry and improve my design thinking, so I did several group projects with UXpie. I have gained a lot! The mentors are experienced and always pointed out the design problem sharply ~ Discussions were very inspiring and team was also very powerful. In addition to the courses, the mentors are also very helpful in my job hunting process.

I did several projects with UXpie. It was very rewarding! Mentors are all experienced and patient. After each discussion, I gained clear idea on how to solve problems. The entire communication and cooperation was very smooth. I received a lot of targeted advice to make my presentation more attractive.

It was my first time looking for an internship in the US this year, and I was very apprehensive at first, but UXPie's career coach program gave me a lot of confidence. My mentor was very detailed in explaining each step in the submission interview, which gave me a clearer understanding of the whole process. Because my mentor has many years of work experience in large U.S. companies and gave me a deeper understanding of the daily workflow and communication habits of companies in the U.S., which was very helpful for my interview. After the class, she also gave me targeted advice on my portfolio project and helped me with mock interview, all of which made me feel more confident in the interview process. In the end, I was also very lucky to get an offer from MBB Consulting, and I am very grateful to have met UXPie!

In the HMI project, the mentor inspired us by the problems & solutions she encountered in her own work. I not only learned UX design, but also received career advice. During the school application, several mentors encouraged and advised me in all aspects. I am very glad to join the UXpie community~!

HMI course has greatly deepened my understanding of UX design. Projects I did before only focused on interface with relatively standardized specifications, while hmi design requires to consider more aspects. Mentors were professional in sharing industry frontiers, guiding ideas and giving us great suggestions.
